monkeys

Because, you know, who doesn't like monkeys?

Some of them are wearing masks as a disguise, but trust me, they're still monkeys.

comic news

Blimey! I drawed a comic! For the first time in over a year, I think.

I've written (and drawn, and coloured, and lettered) a four page piece of nonsense called Radioactive Christmas for the Christmas issue of The Phoenix. It's the fourth Malcolm Bewley Misadventure, belatedly following Ghost Ant, Zombee and Frankencrab from previous issues of The Phoenix back in early 2012. As ever, Malcolm has a bit of a rough time of it.

Oh, and this fella's in it...

The Phoenix, incidentally, just published its 100th issue, which is a fabulous achievement. Bravo to them. If you haven't seen it yet then take a look. The likes of Gary Northfield, Neill Cameron, the inhumanly productive and talented Jamie Smart, and (as they say) many, many more are constantly working wonders within its pages. You owe it to yourself (and especially to any comic-loving children of your acquaintance) to seek it out.

Oops. Missed a week last week. Double portion this week. Don't eat it all at once.

Ah, yes, a few scraps of stuff in there relating to work I was doing for the Amalgamated Electrical and Engineering Union (for whom I also compiled a few crosswords, come to think of it). Not the most glamorous of clients, but I was enormously glad of the work at the time.
